About Me:
Hello, my name is Emily Zboran, and I have a deep passion for the arts, particularly dance. Unlike many dancers who begin at a young age, I started dancing at 17, following a seven-year competitive swimming career. Although I enjoyed swimming, my true passion lies in dance and the arts, which provide a unique outlet for personal expression and connection.
Currently, I am entering my fourth year at Georgia Gwinnett College, where I am pursuing a major in Middle Grades Math and Science Education, with a minor in Business Administration. Looking ahead, I hope to continue my studies in Fine Arts Education or perhaps pursue an MBA. In addition to my academic pursuits, I work two jobs and enjoy teaching dance classes for the GGC Dance Club. I also take dance classes at a nearby adult studio, primarily focusing on ballet and contemporary dance, while occasionally branching out into jazz, hip hop, and other styles.
Though I began my dance journey later than most, I have never wanted to stop. While working toward a career in education, I am also saving money to eventually open my own dance studio. In the future, I may also consider teaching dance at the high school level as part of my broader goals, but time will reveal how my journey unfolds.
